Through the previous blogs, BlueMedix Pharmacy has always tried to keep you informed about our motto to make “genuine and affordable medicines accessible till the last mile”, and with your belief and support, we are making it happen, day in and day out.

We realise that enabling quality healthcare and medicines is a continuous process. The more value we can provide to society, the easier will be the life of people. We would like to share our progress with you by briefly updating you on the expanse of our best-in-class BlueMedix medical store locations across Bihar. As we say, these stores are not just limited to cities or urban areas but also in the remotest of places.

Where Did We Start?

BlueMedix Pharmacy was born when we came across a significant challenge of making a particular medicine available to someone staying in the Nawada district of Bihar. This incident occurred between 2015-16 when we realised the grave medicinal situation in Bihar and the scarcity of medical stores in remote locations. Hence, to address the same, BlueMedix was established in 2017 with its first store in Nawada. The idea was to reduce the distance between the commoners and their reach to access quality healthcare.

Started at Nawada, BlueMedix stopped at nothing. We began to grow our reach across Bihar to make genuine healthcare available at affordable prices.

Our Stores In Other Districts

BlueMedix set its base in Patna and began expanding in all directions, spanning across different districts of Bihar. It covered major cities and villages to form a strong network of medical stores. Currently, we have over 75 stores and new BlueMedix stores opening up as you continue reading. But coming to the data, here’s a list of our stores that we are eager to share with you.

Let us start with the Capital. In Patna, there are over 21 fully equipped BlueMedix stores. We have stores in the following locations in Patna –

• 2 stores in Patna City
• 2 stores in Bhootnath Path
• And 1 store each in Patna City-2 – PMCH – Musallahpur – Gandhi Maidan – Boring Road – Rukanpura – Patel Nagar – Malahi Pakri – Kidwaipuri – Raja Bazar – Danapur – Anisabad – Kadamkuan – Digha – Khemnichak – Jagdeo Path – Gosai Tola.

In Bihar, BlueMedix has stores across cities, towns and villages of various districts. The urban stores in the Nawada district are in Hisua, Pakribarwan, Nawada town, Bhaisasur, and Rajauli, whereas the rural areas with functioning medical stores are in Akbarpur and Roh.

In the district of Bhojpur, BlueMedix Pharmacy has stores in Aarah, Piro, Nawada Thana, and Mahavir Tola. As of now, there is one store each in Vaishali and Rohtas districts, namely – Hajipur and Dehri.

The East Champaran district has stores in two towns – Raxaul and Motihari; we look forward to inaugurating 3 more stores shortly and a total of 7 stores this year.

West Champaran has three BlueMedix stores in Bettiah, Bagaha and Narkatiyaganj. More stores are being opened in other regions as you read.

Being a critical district, Gaya has five well-equipped medical stores at Swarajpuri Road, GB Road, Gaya town, Belaganj and Manpur.

Jamui district has three stores – Jamui town, Sikandra and Khaira Jamui, whereas Nalanda and Buxar have two stores each, located at Bihar Sharif and Rajgir, and Buxar and Krishnabrahm, respectively.

The rest of the districts like Purnia, Jehanabad, Arwal, Siwan, Supaul (Simrahi), Seohar, Sheikhpura, Saharsha, Lakhisarai, Gopalganj, Araria (Forbesganj), and Bhagalpur have one store each.

This data represents the beginning of our journey as a purpose-oriented medical and healthcare brand. We have bigger plans for Bihar and India, primarily focusing on the underprivileged belts facing grave challenges in keeping well and accessing adequate treatment facilities.

BlueMedix Eco-friendly Store

BlueMedix is proud to share that we have an utterly eco-friendly store established at Gandhi Maidan, Patna. We dedicated this iconic store as a tribute to the environment and as our contribution in favour of Zero-Plastic-Usage. Here at the Gandhi Maidan Store, we have used zero plastics in the infrastructure and use eco-friendly packaging for products.

When gathering and organising the medicines at our main warehouse, a thorough quality check is implemented to evaluate the authenticity, manufacturing date of manufacturing and expiry, ensuring that the medicines are of the utmost quality. The medicines are preserved extremely skillfully by implementing advanced industrial processes. In distributing and taking the medicines to the consumers, a responsible and skilful team is at work who knows the best ways to handle medicines without any hampering or tampering.

Honing Skills and Creating Jobs

BlueMedix also houses its skill development and a honing unit named BlueMedix Academy For Skills. The purpose behind it is well thought about, benefitting consumers, store owners, and the youth in the long run. The academy is facilitated by qualified and experienced medical professionals who train the youth with medical skills at par with the industry. At the end of their training, BlueMedix offers to employ these trained youth at numerous BlueMedix stores (big and small) to ensure career security and authentic consumer services.
